Did you know that you can boost your health, detox, and slenderize your body with water infusions? 

Since a current stat estimates that 75% of our population is chronically dehydrated we will start this blog with a reminder of the importance of drinking ENOUGH clean water daily. 

WHAT ROLE DOES WATER PLAY IN OUR HEALTH? 

Water plays so many valuable roles in our body, here are just a few to remind you to up your ‘water game!’

  • Our bodies are 65% water
  • The human brain is 75% water
  • Our blood is 83% water
  • Muscles are 75% water
  • Bones are 22% water
  • Helps convert food to energy
  • Helps our body absorb nutrients
  • Protects and cushions our vital organs
  • And helps remove waste from our bodies….

In today’s blog, I’ll share with you how much water you should be drinking and my 3 favorite water infusion recipes as well as their body beautifying benefits.  

It’s vital to our health that we give our body fresh clean healthy water daily for our body to function at optimal levels.

 However, even given all the reasons we should drink water… in a recent US survey, it’s estimated that 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated!!

How much water should we be drinking?

75% of our body weight in ounces is the perfect place to start.

Weight x .75 = ounces to crush daily!

 

LV’s WATER PET PEEVE – (The No-No)

Since the purpose of drinking water is to cleanse your body and replenish all your organs with fresh hydration, let’s just do exactly that.  Adding chemical sweeteners like Crystal Light and others to your water no longer serves the purpose. Soda Water drinks that contain aspartame and other artificial sweeteners are not only toxic to our bodies but don’t hydrate or cleanse. Let water be water, my friends!
