Seeking hormonal vitality?
Seed Cycling is a no-risk way to potentially improve the ebb and flow of our own natural hormones.
Our Estrogen and Progesterone should work in tandem like a see-saw effect. When they rise and fall out of sync or, too abruptly, we can experience unwanted side effects like:
- PMS
- LOW MOOD OR MOOD SWINGS
- HEADACHES/MIGRAINES
- BLOATING/ PAIN
- WEIGHT GAIN
- AND SO MANY MORE
Seed cycling is proven to be a powerful easy tool at any stage of reproductive health. Evidence of seed cycling benefits are stacking up as it’s shown to help with:
- Regulating your period
- Easing PMS symptoms
- Increase Fertility
- Resolving Hormonal Acne
- Easing Menopausal Discomforts
- Softening the Hormonal Transition in Menopause
- Regaining Hormonal Balance post Birth Control
- Rebalancing Post Partum
WHAT IF YOU DON’T HAVE A “NORMAL MENSTRUAL CYCLE”, OR ARE PRE OR POST MENOPAUSAL?
Seed Cycling is still beneficial. If you are currently pre or post-menopausal or aren’t menstruating, then start with the moon cycle and follow the rotation explained below.
HOW TO SEED CYCLE:
FLAX & PUMPKIN
From Day 1 to Day 14: (or the middle of the cycle), we need more estrogen in order to build up our uterus lining (endometrium). This is called the follicular phase. With seeds such as flaxseed and pumpkin seeds, we can naturally increase our beneficial estrogen levels.
*1 TBLS OF BOTH GROUND FLAX + GROUND PUMPKIN DAILY 1-14 DAYS
SUNFLOWER & SESAME
From Day 15 to Day 30, or the second part of the cycle, the corpus luteum begins to release progesterone (luteal phase). This sex hormone will help thicken the uterus lining and prepare it for implantation if an egg was fertilized.
Sesame seeds contain high levels of zinc, and sunflower seeds are loaded in vitamin E. Zinc and Vitamin E are shown to stimulate progesterone production. Adding two tablespoons of sesame + sunflower seeds per day in the luteal phase is proven to support the body’s production of progesterone.
Progesterone is a sex hormone of which many women experience chronically low levels. Progesterone is vital to pregnancy, as well as brain function, and metabolism.
*1 TBLS OF BOTH GROUND SUNFLOWER + SESAME DAILY 15-30
